Welcome to the website of the Family Resources Center of Quebec (F.R.C.Q.), a registered charity founded to come to the aid of children, adolescents, parents, grandparents and any other individual experiencing family problems, often due to a family break up or other family conflicts.

The F.R.C.Q. offers a wide variety of FREE services such as a confidential telephone help line, professional legal advice, a data bank containing over 2,000 community services and information sessions.

2010 SNOW FESTIVAL

Offer unforgettable memories to disadvantaged children!

The Family Resources Center of Quebec is organizing its 16th Snow Festival to give tangible help to children living in poverty. This activity gives them a 3-day break from their daily routines, and allows them to live an enriching adventure at winter camp.

With your support, the F.R.C.Q. invites a new group of 70 disadvantaged children, aged from 10 to 12, to partake in the 2010 Snow Festival. We offer them a three-day adventure to discover Camp Papillon in St-Alphonse-Rodriguez. This rustic site, located on 40 acres surrounding Lac Pierre, will host children from the region of Quebec from February 17 to 19, and those from Montreal on February 24 to 26.

This outdoor getaway is a wonderfully unexpected gift for them, and your contribution is essential to keep this magnificent tradition alive. Help us by sponsoring an underprivileged child today!

2010 EASTER PARTY

Together, we can make a remarkable difference!

The Family Resources Centre of Quebec (F.R.C.Q.) is launching its fundraising campaign for its 46th Easter Party on February 1st, which will run until April 1st. Sponsorship of 700 underprivileged children from the regions of Quebec and Montreal is extremely appreciated and allows them to experience a dream come true! To date, over 12,000 kids have benefitted from this wonderful activity. This year, students in junior kindergarten and kindergarten will attend the party on March 30 and April 1st. Join us to offer them an unforgettable day that will enrich their lives forever.

In two superb hotel ballrooms especially decorated for the occasion, the children will get their makeup done, jump on inflatable games, be entertained with shows, and partake in arts and crafts workshops and the famous Easter egg hunt. The Clowns du Carrousel and numerous invited mascots will also be there to party!

Such cultural activities allow the F.R.C.Q. to break the social isolation of impoverished children and give them an equal chance to succeed. Despite the economic situation affecting us all, it is now more important than ever to help our children as they live through difficult moments. Help us improve their situation by sponsoring their participation to the party!
